Bob: OK, we’re talking about beer today, aren’t we Rob?


Rob: Yeah!

Bob: Did you drink any beer last night?

Rob: Um, no, I didn’t, um, what’s today? Wednesday, Thursday? Um, the last time I had a beer was Sunday.

Bob: Sunday. You had a few, didn’t you?

Rob: Yeah, five or six cans.

Bob: Anyway, let’s talk about beer facts here, uh,

Rob: OK.

Bob: What country do you think consumes the most beer in the world? per capita? per capita means per person

Rob: Right.. Um well, of the top of my head, I would have thought, what, Brits drink a lot, you know, but also the Germans

Bob: Yeah, but the Czech Republic is number one

Rob: Really?

Bob:Per capita

Rob:Wow, I didn’t know that!

Bob:Yeah, followed by Ireland,

Rob:Really?

Bob:Germany, Australia, Austria and then your country, the UK

Rob:Wow!

Bob:And the USA is actually number 13

Rob:Wow, that’s pretty low.

Bob:Total consumption, the largest consumer in the world is China.

Rob:Right.

Bob:But not per capita
